Gary Andersen and Will Wallman presents Frank Matsuyama and his Fascinating Story

This lecture presents the story of Sonoma resident Frank (Atsuo) Matsuyama who immigrated to California alone from Japan in 1903 at the age of 16. He moved to Sonoma and married Sonoma resident Georgiana Wallman Dolcini in 1912, becoming one of the first Japanese/Caucasian marriages in California. Together they raised eight children. The story provides a compelling story of life in not only Sonoma but the multi-faceted life of the uniquely talented Frank Matsuyama. Presented by Gary Andersen accompanied by Frank Matsuyama’s grandson Will Wallman, former Sonoma County deputy sheriff and coroner.
